Meet The clinic Founder
Croft Castrell, CMT
Croft Castrell is a Certified Massage Therapist (CMT) and the founder of Castrell Neuromuscular Therapy in San Jose, California.
His unique approach blends a background in competitive bodybuilding with advanced neuromuscular and orthopedic soft tissue therapies. Since opening his practice in February 2015, Croft has been dedicated to helping clients achieve pain-free health through personalized, science-based treatments.
Before becoming a licensed therapist, Croft spent nearly two decades in accounting in Bermuda. His passion for fitness led him to amateur bodybuilding, where he developed a deep understanding of the human body and its mechanics. This experience ignited his interest in manual therapy and health education, prompting a career shift. He graduated from the National Holistic Institute in 2014, earning certifications in Neuromuscular Massage Therapy and Health Education. Croft also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Acadia University, equipping him with a strategic mindset for his practice.
At Castrell Neuromuscular Therapy, Croft employs a range of modalities, including sports massage, deep tissue therapy, neural reset techniques, and shockwave therapy. His methods are tailored to address the root causes of muscular and skeletal issues, rather than just alleviating symptoms. This personalized approach has made his practice particularly popular among professionals in high-performance environments, such as tech executives and athletes.
Clients often praise his intuitive understanding of the body and his ability to provide lasting relief from chronic pain and injuries. One client described him as a “body magician,” highlighting his skill in identifying and addressing complex musculoskeletal issues.
Croft Castrell stands out as a trusted partner in optimizing both body and mind. His integrative approach offers more than relief – it provides a pathway to enhanced resilience and productivity. By addressing the root causes of muscular and skeletal challenges, he empowers his clients to achieve peak performance.
